Construction Litigation
We have a wide-ranging practice in the area of construction law. We
represent owners, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers in
disputes regarding, among other things, payment, performance,
warranties, mechanic’s liens, surety bonds, delay and extra work
claims, terminations, procurement and bid disputes, environmental
issues, joint ventures, debarment, and governmental compliance and
investigations.
We have handled disputes concerning a football stadium, Chapter 40B
developments, condominiums, single family homes, apartment
buildings, commercial buildings, office space, bridges, tunnels,
highways, shopping centers, a multiplex cinema, golf courses, water
and wastewater treatment plants, landfills, warehouses, garages and
public housing.
We litigate construction disputes in state and federal courts and
have substantial experience in construction arbitration and
mediation.
Because we have an active criminal law practice, we are able to
provide construction clients with advice and representation in
criminal and quasi-criminal proceedings, including grand jury
proceedings, subpoenas, government investigations and false claims
lawsuits.
