Karen’s practice involves all types of complex commercial litigation matters including contract, real estate, construction, employment, commercial landlord/tenant and telecommunications disputes. She also has worked on criminal defense matters.

Karen joined Lurie & Krupp, LLP in 2005. She was formerly a litigation associate at Brown Rudnick Freed & Gesmer. Karen received her J.D. in 1986 from Boston University School of Law where she was an editor of the Law Review. She received her B.A. in 1981 from Williams College, where she majored in English. She also received an M.A. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages in December 1996 from the State University of New York, Stony Brook and taught for many years in the public school system. She is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and before the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
